SA Sheet Metal has been operating in the industry for 30 years, specialising in the fabrication and installation of products from Aluminium, Galvanised, Stainless Steel and Mild Steel.  Our primary services include: Commercial Kitchens, including Exhaust Canopies, Benches and Splashback, Domestic BBQ Range hoods and Various Flashings and small jobs.

We are currently looking for suitable candidates to apply for a full time position as either a qualified tradesperson or apprentice.  Starting ASAP

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess the following:

• Relevant Trade Qualifications is required for tradesperson or willing to sign onto a full-time apprenticeship

• Driver’s License and ability to drive a manual vehicle

• White Card or willing to acquire one

• Be reliable and Punctual

• Be physically fit, as on-site installation in and on roofs will be required

• Competence in various types of welding

• Competence in grinding and polishing various metals

• Experience with Folding Equipment, Guillotine and Hydra Bend Equipment

• Experience with electrical and hand tools

• Able to work independently and within a team workshop environment

• Able to read and interpret workshop designs and schematics

Please note applicants must have full Australian working rights.

Work hours is a 38 hour week – Monday to Friday with the possibility of occasional weekend overtime in the busy periods.
